For quick blasts on local trails, for training technique and strenght, and just for good old fun. Everybody needs a playbike, mine needed an overhaul (or just replacement).
It lost quite a bit of weight since the last iteration, and gained lenght in the top tube. The bottom bracket is also lower, and hopefully the forks will give more support and traction than the old Pikes. Still a bit of work to be done, shortening brake hoses and seat posts among other things, but it is fully ridable.
Rides like a happy puppy, maybe not the fastest bike around, and sometimes very demanding, but utterly rewarding when handled in the proper way and pointed down the correct lines.
